My Therapy Approach

My work is guided by a client-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed philosophy. I draw on attachment theory, neuropsychology, and experiential therapy to help clients reconnect with themselves in meaningful and healing ways. I am currently pursuing certification in AEDP therapy, which supports emotional growth through connection, safety, and present-moment awareness.

My Story

Before joining FSHN, I worked extensively in Ottawa with immigrants and trauma survivors. As a mother of two, my world is full of movement, love, and a touch of chaos. Creativity grounds me—whether I’m stitching embroidery, rearranging furniture, or savoring poetry and illustrated books.

Therapy has also played an important role in my personal life. I've had both meaningful and difficult experiences as a client, and they deeply shape the way I hold space for others—with empathy, presence, and understanding.

Beyond the Office

My identity as a therapist is shaped by being a daughter, sister, and mother. These roles have helped me show up in the therapy room with warmth, humility, and an open heart. I especially love working with adolescents, individuals in the perinatal period, and older adults.

Let’s Connect

Therapy is a step toward healing, clarity, and self-understanding. If you're looking for someone to walk with you on that journey, I invite you to reach out. I’d be honored to support you in your growth.
